Bible Study
Bible Study sessions are being run as a cluster, please see the calendar or services page for more information on upcoming sessions.
The Methodist tradition and style of worship does not easily lend itself to Bible teaching during the services. There are some that regret this and feel that there is little opportunity for learning about the Bible and hence increasing our understanding of God’s word.
Because of this, we at St Andrews have replaced one of our evening services with a Bible study. This gives us the opportunity to study in depth specific parts of the Bible or to look at what the Bible says about particular areas of interest or concern.
These evenings have been ably led by Phil and by Josef, both of whom shared their knowledge and expertise with us, and encouraged us to share our thoughts with them and with each other.
